Flipkart UPI Payment: E-commerce website Flipkart has launched its unified payment interface i.e. UPI services. Through this, users can make payments with the help of QR codes, pay electricity bills and use digital services like mobile recharge. Through this, the company is also giving a discount of Rs. 25 initially.
The company has partnered with Axis Bank for this. Rajneesh Kumar, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of the company, provided this information. According to Rajneesh Kumar, the company’s own UPI will directly benefit its 50 crore registered customers and 14 lakh sellers.
How to Activate Flipkart UPI Payment
1> First of all open the Flipkart app on your smartphone.
2> After that click on ‘Scan and Pay’ option.
3> Here you select ‘My UPI’ option.
4> After that select your bank name.
5> Now enter your bank details.
6> Now your details will be verified by SMS.
7> After this your Flipkart UPI will be activated.
Credit cards can also be linked.
Additionally, it will reduce people’s dependence on other third party UPI apps like Paytm, Phone Pay, Google and Amazon Pay. You can link it directly to your credit card.
Recently, Zomato also launched its UPI service. Apart from this, Tata New and WhatsApp also have their own UPI services.
In February, there were 1,210 crore UPI transactions, through which Rs 18.30 lakh crore was transferred. This is a 61% increase compared to February last year. Also, 1,220 crore transactions were made through UPI in January. 18.41 lakh crore rupees have been transferred.
