Latest rbi guidelines for banks: Big news for bank account holders. A big announcement has been made by the Reserve Bank of India. RBI has issued some new guidelines for those taking loans and not paying EMIs on time. As a result of which EMI payers have got little relief. Even if the loan is not repaid, the bank can no longer bother. However, there are some regulations for this. Which is absolutely necessary to know.
Debt is a big financial liability. The borrower has to pay the EMI every month. If a customer does not repay the installment or EMI by the due date after taking the loan, then in such a situation the bank calls the customer and sends a message. Many times they threaten customers and take legal action.
Latest rbi guidelines for banks: All banks also have the right to recover the money after disbursing the loan. RBI also has special rules for this. Now the bank officer or recovery agent can call the customer between 7 am and 7 pm for loan money. Apart from this, the time of going to his house is also fixed from 7 am to 7 pm.
Latest rbi guidelines for banks: If a customer does not deposit the installment within 90 days. Then the bank will give him a notice. After which 60 days time should be given to deposit the money. Even after this, if a person fails to deposit the money, the bank can recover the money by selling his mortgaged property ie house, car.
