Pakistan has been removed from the FATF’s gray list

New Delhi: Pakistan has good news. Pakistan has been blacklisted for the past few years for failing to take any steps to stop funding terrorists, and today Pakistan has been removed from the gray list. Today, Pakistan has been removed from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) ‘s gray list. At a meeting in Berlin, Germany, it was decided to remove Pakistan from the gray list.

Information on this will now be updated on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) website. At the October meeting, the official announcement was made that Pakistan had been removed from the list.

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) in Paris put Pakistan on the gray list again in March. Pakistan was also asked to prosecute and investigate illegal money laundering. The decision was made after a four-day meeting of the FATF. Pakistan has been on the gray list since 2018 due to its anti-money laundering and anti-money laundering stance. In addition, Pakistan has promised to meet all the requirements of the FATF by 2023.
