IRCTC Ticket Booking: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) said this morning that the Indian Railways ticket booking service was down due to a technical error.
The technical team continues to work to fix the bug.
In this regard, in a tweet, the Railways said: ‘Ticketing service’ (IRCTC site and app) is not available due to technical error. Our technical team is fixing the bug. We will let you know as soon as the issue is resolved.
In another tweet, Railways said that ticket booking can be done through ‘Amazon’, ‘MakeMy Trip‘ and other service providers.
Aspirants took to Twitter to complain to the Railways about not being able to book tickets online.
Notably, ‘IRCTC’ is an online platform in website and app which provides ticketing services to passengers.
Apart from this, The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation is also preparing an innovative ticket-booking feature (Voice-Based e-Ticket Booking System). It aims to simplify and streamline the online reservation process. IRCTC is piloting its AI platform ‘AskDisha’.
