‘Accidental Delete’ new exciting feature launched by WhatsApp. Know how to use this feature
New Delhi: WhatsApp, the mobile messaging app that has become an integral part of people’s lives, has launched the ‘Accidental Delete’ facility. It is used to delete (remove) messages that are inadvertently posted to a person or group. Two special features like ‘Delete for Me’ and ‘Delete for Everyone’ have already been made available to save the users from the trouble.
Many times people rush to delete the message and click on ‘delete for me’. This deletes the message from your app, but doesn’t delete it for the person you sent the message to. In this case, there is no option for the user to delete the message for everyone. The ‘Accidental Delete’ feature has been introduced to address this serious problem.
If a person who wants to delete a message for everyone accidentally deletes it using ‘Delete for Me’, he can retrieve the message using the ‘Accidental Delete’ feature and delete it using ‘Delete for Everyone’. Then this facility will be available for a few seconds after sending the message.
