Mizoram Election 2023, EC’s Big Announcement; Counting of votes in Mizoram will not take place on December 3

Mizoram Election 2023 : Big decision of Election Commission. The votes of the Mizoram assembly elections will not be counted on December 3. This date has been moved to 4 instead of 3. Counting of votes will be held on Monday (December 4) instead of Sunday.

“Sunday is very important for the people of Mizoram,” the Election Commission said. Due to this the date has been changed. Many people requested to change the date. Voting for 40 seats in Mizoram was held on November 7.

Mizoram Election 2023 : Actually, 3rd December is a Sunday. People from the Christian community go to church especially on Sundays. Due to this the date has been changed. 87 percent of the population in the state are Christians. People were demanding that the result date be changed.
